We know some of you signed up quite a while ago (thank you!) so we wanted to let you know we've updated the site recently with more specifics about our Sept 24th Bike/March and Rally. We've finally secured insurance for the event and are hoping to hear about permit approvals this week. Tentatively, we’re planning to gather at Columbus Circle in Manhattan and walk/roll/ride to the UN’s Dag Hammarskjold Plaza for the rally where the UN General Assembly will be in session debating important climate resolutions in the run up to the Rio 2012 Climate Summit.
We’re thrilled to be partnering with Al Gore's Climate Reality Project "24 Hours of Reality" on Sept 14th http://climaterealityproject.org/2011/07/27/a-september-to-remember/ and Climate Week NYC’s "Clean Revolution" Sept 19th - 26th http://www.climateweeknyc.org/http://www.climateweeknyc.org, and with the NYC Climate Coalition www.NYCClimate.org, a project of the Human Impacts Institute www.HumanImpactsInstitute.org .
